Hi Hans,

I think your problem is most likely just a network problem.
This should not be related to you hardware or installed OS.

Maven tries to download needed plugins from http://repo1.maven.org but seems to be stuck in the process. Might be a problem at the repo side, your local ISP or something in between. My advise is to keep trying and possibly check if your local network/ISP might have problems with connectivity or bandwidth.

Hi There,

While I want to customize rave, I tried to build it from the source.

I created a new account with admin rights on my pc to prevent user prefs
pollution.

The svn part went fine, but during

mvn clean install

the procedure starts:

building Apache Rave :: rave-project 0.12-SNAPSHOT

but it hangs after

Downloading:
http://repo1.maven.org/maven2/org/apache/maven/plugins/maven-remote-reso
urces-plugin/1.2.1/maven-remote-resources-plugin-1.2.1.jar

my screen says 23 KB and then it stops.

When i retry the same happens except that it doesn't say 23 KB but 19
KB and then hangs

Im trying this on a 64 bit windows 7 enterprise system with 1.472 GB
free internal memory with hardly any processing usage and 14.1 GB
harddisk space free

Does anyone know how to handle this?

Thanks!
