You can use either Tomcat 6 or Tomcat 7.  The wars for Rave & Shindig will
run well in either.  As for integration into the .NET application, you will
want to ensure that at least the Rave instance is exposed through the same
IIS host as your .NET application.

While you can use the demo wars, we generally recommend building your own
application based on the custom archetype:
http://rave.apache.org/documentation/rave-extensions.html

We are also working on an enhanced set of APIs and an AngularJS front end
to assist in these types of integrations in the future.
