Hi- I had chatgpt help me start to build a cool menu system that would break apart a application main area into maybe 5 or 6 main sections for navigation. I will implement sub menus a little later hopefully. It actually displays different screens based on the traversal of the menu.
Is anyone interested to see or adapt what chatgpt did with a doubly linked list to see the menusystem it came up with for apache royale? I am still working on it. I need to fix some button states with error trapping (if they click out of order) but it is traversing back and forth amongst different screens based on the direction of the traversal and can be easily reset with a refresh. Please let me know if you like and you have a way i can send the files to you. I use linux without wine, so i doubt there is any viruses. They are mxml files and as file attachments. If nothing else, it is a demo that code way over someones head can get completed by the AI in less time. I may have redirected it and prompted it, but this was more advanced than i could tackle in that time frame - definitely. I am using it as a hobby learning tool for apache royale. Have a very cool weekend. thanks, jim Sent with Proton Mail secure email.
