But having the source zipped, is very useful for me.

JBI components are now shared between ServiceMix 3.3 and ServiceMix 4.0.
You can download the source by checking out the svn tree from:
https://svn.apache.org/repos/asf/servicemix/components/components-pom/trunk/
Note that they don't appear in the above browser because we use svn
externals.
