There is an archetype available for creating binding components:
GroupId: org.apache.servicemix.tooling
ArtifactId: servicemix-binding-component
Version: 2008.01-SNAPSHOT (I am not sure which versions are available in
public repos, but you can always build it from source)
An other interesting approach would be to study carefully the source of an
existing binding component. SMPP BC would be nice, since it very simple.
