Lacking a better bundle state monitor I wrote a small shell script[1]. It simply logs into the karaf console via SSH and lists all OSGi bundles. This list is then diffed against a previous list and a mail is sent in case of differences.
I admit it is not pretty in any way, but I've searched hi and low for other methods. How do you monitor your ServiceMix installations?
