Hi, Achim, Hi Graham, I was facing this same problem and I have fixed it by changing the servicemix instance.properties file.
Im my case, the property "item.0.loc" was pointing to my ancient user home dir. So when I change the servicemix to a external hd and mount the partition I got that error message. To solve the problem, I just change the "item.0.loc" property value to the new correct location value, remove all servicemix/data files and folder and the problem was solved. I am new with servicemix and if someone have some remarks about it, I am all ears. What I would like to know is in what moment servicemix got my home dir and put it as a "item.0.loc" value? best regards -- View this message in context: http://servicemix.396122.n5.nabble.com/FATAL-PWC5963-The-scratchDir-you-specified-is-unusable-tp5622603p5713367.html Sent from the ServiceMix - User mailing list archive at Nabble.com.
