Yeah ServiceMix is intended to be run as a server where you host your
integration application.

If you want to embed ServiceMix into another container then thats
hardly possible. Instead I would suggest to look at using Apache Camel
/ CXF / ActiveMQ client as they are libraries that can easily be
embedded in your application and run on any server of choice.
