Hi,

first of all you are right and servicemix is an esb but servicemix runs in an OSGI-Container called karaf. And there is an OpenEJB / TomEE implementation for karaf and EJB. So you may better search for karaf and EJB etc.

Hello,

I am planning to migrate a Java Enterprise application from weblogic server
to servicemix. I have ejb 2.x components in it. Can you please let me know
if I could deploy the EJB's (thru EAR) in servicemix ? It would be great if
you could point to any tutorial/blogs for the same.

I tried searching google as well as couple of other forums. None of them had
any details about it.

I am using the below as EJB's
MDB's - Consumer for JMS queue
Stateless Session Beans - Exposed as webservices (thru Axis) and front end
(thru Struts)

Is such a migration from weblogic to servicemix possible ? Does it involve a
lot of rewrite ? I am aware that servicemix is a ESB, licensing cost is the
only reason behind the migration.

Thanks,
Vijeeth
