Yes, if the bundle that contains your filter is affected by upgrades that will stop the filter ;-) BTW I just remembered that we do have such a filter in Sling, see https://svn.apache.org/repos/asf/sling/trunk/contrib/extensions/startup-filter and SLING-2347 - sorry that I didn't mention that earlier. The use case is slightly different but that might be useful. -Bertrand
