Once SOGo 1.3 is released and the new integrator/connector/lightning
plugins are released, will the current thunderbird (2.x.x) and
accompanying plugins still work, or will we be forced to upgrade to 3.1
and new plugins?

A few things were fixed in SOGo Connector but there remany bugs. SOGo
Integrator has been completely tested and should be completely
useable. Note that this version of SOGo Integrator is meant to connect
to our demo website. As always, you will need to adapt the
extensions.rdf and regenerate an XPI if you want it to work with your
local SOGo installation.
Again, please report us any bugs you may find...
