thanks for your fast response. that forcefull installation did not help
because i have to downgrade dependent packages also.
now sogo.log says "Cannot load adaptor bundle 'MySQL'".
i guess i will just wait for the 1.3.1 release

version of sope4.9-gdl1-mysql_4.9.r1664 before 20100817. In his setup a:
$ dpkg -i
/var/cache/apt/archives/sope4.9-gdl1-mysql_4.9.r1664.20100721_amd64.deb
solved the problem.
