Is there any special reason by using Cyrus as IMAP-Server? Does it run better

Same Question from me. The Ubuntu-Server-Guide advises Dovecot:

And the big Postfix book by Hildebrandt/Koette the authors switch in the
last edition to Dovecot, too.
