Hi Stéphane,
/var/log/sogo/sogo.log does not change while I'm working on Funambol...
I think, SOGo does not even recognize that I try to connect to it.
Regards
Mirko
PS: I also analyized Apaches log files: There are incoming connections,
but no forwarding to SOGo. Yet, the log files are quite strange:
/var/log/apache2/other_vhosts_access.log:
<localhostname>:80 <clientIP> - - [29/Sep/2010:08:16:52 +0200] "POST
/funambol/ds HTTP/1.1" 404 358 "-" "Funambol Outlook Sync Client v. 8.7.2"
<localhostname>:80 <clientIP> - - [29/Sep/2010:08:16:53 +0200] "POST
/sapi/profile/client?action=get-update-info&component=outlook&version=8.7.2&format=properties
HTTP/1.1" 404 366 "-" "(null)"
Why are there entries for a vhost with the local host name? The client
transmits "Host: <globalhostname>" in the HTTP session (proofed by
wireshark).
/var/log/apache2/error.log:
[Wed Sep 29 08:16:52 2010] [error] [client <clientIP>] File does not
exist: /htdocs
[Wed Sep 29 08:16:53 2010] [error] [client <clientIP>] File does not
exist: /htdocs
Yet, I did not configure Apache for non-SSL-connections, thus /htdocs is
probably the default directory to search in...

Hi Mirko,
First: I'm no funambol expert at all. :-)
However, as far as I know:
Funambol comes with tomcat: it doesn't run via apache. Maybe you
should try to connect on port 8080, which I think is the default
funambol/tomcat port
Hm, yes, I also think, funambol comes with tomcat. However, the doc
did not say, use port 8080.
Nevertheless, I tried it, but it didn't work ("network error").
Obviosly, nobody is listening at 8080:
$ telnet myhost 8080
Trying myip...
telnet: Unable to connect to remote host: Connection refused
Same for locally connecting to localhost.
Thanks for the idea!
Mirko
