You are right. Thundebird search any contact of e-mail (when you read it) on
address books.
If you have a LDAP address book, Thunderbird'll search into this AB with a
query, a lot of query
Yes, I have the same problem with TH3+extensions (TH2+ext works fine).
I have add last line on my sogo-integrator site.js for disable this behaviour
[root@nethservice ~]# cat
/home/sogo/sogo-integrator-thunderbird3/defaults/preferences/site.js
pref("sogo-integrator.autocomplete.server.urlid", "users");
pref("calendar.timezone.local", "/mozilla.org/20070129_1/Europe/Rome");
pref("calendar.caldav.sched.enabled", true);
pref("mail.showCondensedAddresses", false); <---
You can disable manually too:
TB Preference -> Advanced -> Read -> Show name... in address book.. (disable
it)
I tried set both of them, but it didn't work for me - all our clients
(TH3.1.7+ext) search all addresses included in e-mail message on the LDAP
server all the time :-(
