Yeah, I tried to find some settings that could be related. There are quite some interesting settings in calendar.registry.<HASH>; for example there is a boolean property readOnly which is false for every calendar and I just don't understand why. I am still investigating this, but setting this to true for all calendars but the ones I can write in seems to help with creating new events in the wrong calendar...
