To which value have you set in NGImap4ConnectionStringSeparator ?
I assume it is set to "." instead of "/", which is expected by dovecot.
Or do you really use folder names with an "." character in them?

You are right Christian Mack, I set the NGImap4ConnectionStringSeparator
to / and now all the messages are displayed as they are supposed to be.
