We setup a machine using Centos 6 and installed the nightly build of SOGo for testing in the current code for Outlook compatibility. I edited the samba4 startup script to run samba instead of smbd, and perhaps that is our issue. Anyway, when setting up a profile using the Mail control panel, I can login and check name works. When opening Outlook, I login and at that point there is an internal panic in samba:
Aug 20 06:02:31 samba [16023]: [ERROR] <0x0x2469e38[NGLdapAttribute]> cound not convert value of objectGUID to string Aug 20 06:02:31 samba [16023]: [ERROR] <0x0x246a598[NGLdapAttribute]> cound not convert value of objectSid to string [2012/08/20 06:02:31, 0] ../lib/util/fault.c:72(fault_report) =============================================================== [2012/08/20 06:02:31, 0] ../lib/util/fault.c:73(fault_report) INTERNAL ERROR: Signal 11 in pid 16023 (4.0.0beta5-3.el6.1) Please read the Trouble-Shooting section of the Samba HOWTO [2012/08/20 06:02:31, 0] ../lib/util/fault.c:75(fault_report) =============================================================== [2012/08/20 06:02:31, 0] ../lib/util/fault.c:144(smb_panic_default) PANIC: internal error After this crash, I have to restart samba for even the Check Name function to work again. As it is we are not running slapd but are using the samba ldap server as a config in sogousersources. The web login for sogo works including email and calendar. -- users@sogo.nu https://inverse.ca/sogo/lists
