Yep, if a user already has 24.x, then they should switch back to 17.0.9.

Thunderbird 24 was rolled out by Ubuntu 12.04 LTS automatically. Sorry,
there is no way back to Thunderbird 19 ...
Is any tb24 development branch on github available?
