Dear List,
at first, thanks to inverse team for creating such a flexible and
powerful middleware and making upgrades that smooth!
(usually i do not like to upgrade production systems that fast, but with
SOGo i learnt that it is possible with quality software)
with the upgrade to v2.3.2 i once again tested activesync with my
evergreen 7+ GB mailboxes. afte being quite happy with
v.2.3.1 and my current config below:
SxVMemLimit = 1024;
SOGoMaximumPingInterval = 3540;
SOGoMaximumSyncInterval = 3540;
SOGoInternalSyncInterval = 30;
SOGoMaximumSyncWindowSize = 128;
SOGoMaximumSyncResponseSize = 524288;
WOWatchDogRequestTimeout = 60;
(this config does overwrites on syncwindow and syncresponse as doing not
so eats up all RAM)
i was not able to repeat that smooth sync with 2.3.2 (on 2.3.1
activesync was patched with #3294 manually)
i guess #3293 is not suitable as it did not work on 2.3.1 but seems to
work on 2.3.2 but much slower than expected.
But that is not the real problem.
Currently my Outlook (that synced ok with 2.3.1) is not able to sync all
Contacts (exactly 1065 cards). On the first sync
with 2.3.1 it did 1065 cards, on the second it did 960 on now on 2.3.2
it just recognizes 194 (MacBook, iPhone and iPad
as well as SOGo webinterface do detect 1065 contacts, so i am not
blaming SOGo here).
On every new Sync i deleted the OST-file and reset the device with
sogo-tool manage-eas resetdevice ... ...
Surprisingly what does work is adding new contacts, they will be synced.
If i delete one contact from webinterface and readd it manually
with exact the same data, it gets synced.
This problem is also with calendar item but not with mail items.
It must be a problem with Outlook 2013 (15.0.4737.1003) but i cant see why.
i dont get the mechanics behind that, so if anyone could explain this
inconsistency it would be greatly appreciated.
cheers,
sascha
