make sure you have the correct ports 
incoming @ 443/ TLS


you may have to go back and edit account "after" you add it the first time

If so, please, how can I find out if ActiveSync of my SOGo instance is
working?

As an attempt I installed an Android app (BlueMail) and registered a new
Exchange account (filled-up e-mail - primary e-mail of an account
registered in SOGo's MySQL, for DOMAIN\Username the same e-mail,
password, Exchange server "mydomain" where the SOGo instance is running,
no security, port 80, protocol ActiveSync), but no success. It complains
Can't open connection to server. The attempt does not even make any
trace in the sogo log. :(
