Activsync with outlook 2016 syncs messages, calendar, notes, etc over a single https port. There is no need for MAPI. Openchange provided MAPI support. Activsync is a lot nbetter from a reliability and security point of view.
Does Activesync allow sogo calendars to work with Outlook?
