Hi,
whenever a group calendar is involved, i.e. inviting a group calendar to
an event series or an event series being written directly into the group
calendar, it will not be possible anymore to delete single events of the
event series using SOGo web GUI.
Observation: It works without any issues using Thunderbird Lightning!
(which is our workaround). Synchronisation to SOGo works flawlessly then
(deleted event also vanished from SOGo web GUI after sync).
Example:
Sales employee: fritz.ma...@mycompany.com
Sales group calendar: sales-...@mycompany.com
Using Thunderbird or SOGo web GUI (doesn't matter), Fritz creates a
weekly event series from October 15th, 2020 till February 15th, 2021. He
writes it into his personal calendar and invites among others the sales-cal.
The single event on December 15th, 2020 has to be deleted.
Using SOGo web GUI both Fritz and logging in with the sales-cal account
will fail trying to delete the event. Returned error message is: Request
failed.
Using Thunderbird Lightning, Fritz is able to delete the single event
without any issue.
This is what the sogo.log says whenever the error will be reproduced:
