Good day everyone,

I am stuck with a quite unusual issue.

On backend side I have most recent SOGo interfacing postfix/dovecot. All
running on CentOS7.

All set up is tuned to run well without any error messages.

SOGo UI works well.

Android devices sync mail, contacts. Calendars via ActiveSync without any
problem (using BlackBerry sute).

iPhone SE with iOS 16 sync mail, contacts calendars via ActiveSync with no
issues at all. Everything works as charm.

Several MacBooks sync Mail via IMAP (bypassing SOGo) and sync
Contacts/Calendars from SOGo via CardDAV/CalDAV - everything works as charm.

iPhone 16 with iOS 26.2 and another iPhone with same iOS (cant remember model)
manifest all sorts of weird behavior working with Mail via ActiveSync. Mail is
not synced, when I refresh in Mail, all mail disappears, then a month worth of
mails starting to appear from old dates. And after a week (I have quite some
email on daily basis) it stops. Sometimes it sync to more recent, sometime it
doesn’t. When you refersh, sometimes it fetches more recent emails, but most of
time all email disappears at it seems to try fetching it from scratch.

The same iPhone works well with the same mail account if synced via IMAP
(bypassing SOGo). I would just drop it but it has unfortunate downside of non
operational push, so to see new emails I often have to manually refresh Mail
app.

Checked logs, enabled debug mode - nothing critical in logs spotted during
iPhone sync. Re-connected the same account via activesync several times, used
another account to integrate (same behaviour).

Please help with any idea where to dig further.

Mark
