Now a couple of days ago on one hosts the network tests stoped working, while nothing was changed and both hosts are open in the firewall. Any ideas what could be the reason?
First check for gross errors:
spamassassin --lint
Then try resolving something in a DNSBL on the system: (this is a test-point address, you should get many answers)
host 2.0.0.127.dnsbl.sorbs.net
Then look at the debug output, it might give you some hints about what's going on.
spamasssassin --lint -D
