Or use bayes_file_mode 777. This is pretty much necessary if you're going to do a global bayes DB, since the ownership of the files can change any time any different user calls SA on the system.


The only other alternative is to ensure that only one user ever executes any part of SA, in which case, why do you have a global bayes DB instead of a user with a special home directory?
