I see nothing here about bayes_store_module or auto_whitelist_factory, are those two things really missing? If so, go back and read README.awl and README.bayes. If they are there, run spamassassin -D --lint and see if you can see it attempting to connect to the database. Rinse and repeat with spamd -D.
