It looks as if your bayes_path is set wrong. If /etc/spamassassin/bayes is
a
directory, you probably want something like:
bayes_path /etc/spamassassin/bayes/bayes
(bayes_path is a path and a file prefix -- pointing it at just a directory
causes a lint error.)
