Actually, if any SPF tests are run, they are ALL run.

My guess is you have a broken trust path, which is causing the normal
SPF rules to not match correctly.

In general, it won't run tests that have had their scores set to 0. Also
some rules are disabled in groups by disabling the associated plugin.

Shouldn't matter, but it would be a good idea to update when you can.
Debian distro packages are really good for packages that you want to be
highly stable, but very bad for packages you want to be up-to-date.
