how much confidence is that really?


Confidence is everything, whether it's ham or spam, whether you are looking at DNS, Content, or any statistical value you come up with. That's why SA is so great, because you can combine things like the Botnet plugin and various content checks and all sorts of things into a score that represents a confidence.

M. Perkel tends towards oversimplification and curious 'marketing-like' subject lines that get threads like this one going. Sometimes it's interesting, but usually not. ymmv.
