still bayes 00, if that is ham message, all is ok imho

if it move away from bayes 00 and still ham, then you would need to soft score rules that turn it over to spam score

meta RULENAME (-1) (-1) (-1) (-1)

would subtract 1 from rule name dynamicly if you like that rule to be less agrasive scored

meta RULENAME (1) (1) (1) (1)

would add 1 to scores in rule name dynamicly if that rule is trusted does not hit ham

well this is the basic :)

RULENAME is the rule that scored to high

I've already asked the CU to get VALID reverse DNS for their relay,

first step would to have your dns to have that ip so it can be your domain first, and then ask them to make the reverse part match your hostname, if both reverse and forward match then its verifyed as a good sign of not spam sending or dynamic ip, anyone can make a ptr, but not anyone can make it match a forward reverse aswell without asking therre isp, isps need to be contacted if you have less then /24 iprange, since you then is in shared ip pool, if you have a full /24 ipv4 you might aswell set it self :)

but what else should I or they do here
to not hit the rule, or is the rule (which is too complicated for me
to understand atm) too aggressive for this case?

the rule name hit on content that is seen in spam mails, but you can use spf/dkim/dmarc to weight it to be not spam if this is used on recipient mailserver, so thay can trust it to be not forged
