We have an application that creates file names that contain the '@' symbol and, in the latest upgrade of svn, we noticed that there seems to be a conflict with the '@' sign used for the peg revision number when trying to add or commit these files. Currently, we are running version 1.6.9 as distributed by gentoo.
By placing a second '@' sign at the end of the file name in the svn command, it appears to get around this problem. Will this work-around continue to work in the future? Will there be allowances for the '@' character in file names managed by svn? Aaron Casey
