Hi Bob, when I run
svn update d:\localpath\trunk\Documentation from cmd prompt the command just hangs, doing nothing. this directory has only a few files in it. When I add a file into this directory I can svn commit the directory just fine. Also , when I try to create a new svn checkout into another directory this command hangs also. with tortoise svn I can run the repo browser fine, but when I try to export a file , tortoise svn hangs again. svn --version svn, version 1.6.11 (r934486) compiled May 19 2010, 20:22:53 OS Windows XP SP3 On another PC things run fine. I tried uninstall / reinstall of tortoise svn and command line svn , but nothing helps. -----Bob Archer <bob.arc...@amsi.com> wrote: ----- To: "ddeco...@sybase.com" <ddeco...@sybase.com>, " users@subversion.apache.org" <users@subversion.apache.org> From: Bob Archer <bob.arc...@amsi.com> Date: 24/06/2010 17:16 Subject: RE: svn fails to checkout > Since some time I have issues with svn > > I used tortoisesvn and at one point it stopped performing a > checkout or an update. > It would still commit however. > > Now I tried the same with command line svn and I get the same > issue. > > so commit works, but update or checkout both fail. > > Is there anything I can do to diagnose this further ? > I am running on windows Xp SP3 I think if you want help from the list posting the exact commands and responses (error etc) would help us help you.
