He suggested you find the TortoiseSVN equivalent of the command-line command "svnadmin create --pre-1.6-compatible". Whether TortoiseSVN has an equivalent of that command is a question you'll have to ask the TortoiseSVN people on their mailing list; I don't see any such option mentioned in their documentation: http://tortoisesvn.net/docs/release/TortoiseSVN_en/tsvn-repository.html#tsvn-repository-create-tortoisesvn FYI, "svnadmin create --pre-1.6-compatible" doesn't necessarily need to be run on a Linux machine; it could just as easily be run on a Mac or Windows machine that has the Subversion command line programs installed.
