Yes, I did take the subject of your 2nd sentence here to mean RHEL/centos, not
your own programs:

And I'm only stating my own reasons, because of your obnoxious comments that
judgementally hinted there's no good reason to use an old OS.
And my reply wasn't intended to be judgmental about your use, but to point out
to others that in my experience Centos5 is a perfectly stable platform for
subversion - to counter what I misread as your claim to the contrary. Sorry
about that - and good luck when you do update.
