Why do you think that is wrong?  That's a perfectly valid history.  Compare:

svnadmin create r
svn co file://`pwd`/r wc
cd wc
svn mkdir A
touch A/mu A/mu2
svn add A/mu A/mu2
svn ci -mr1
svn up
svn rename A B
svn rm B/mu B/mu2
svn cp file://`cd .. && pwd`/A/mu2@1 B/mu2
svn ci -mr2
svn up
svn log -qvr2
