The problem is related to SVN itself. Tried also wandisco svn distribution: same error.

Can you check out the repository with the 'svn.exe' binary which can be optionally installed along with TortoiseSVN ( http://gaurangpatel.net/posted_images/SVN-checkout-using-BATCH-and-Powershell_A0FD/SVNInstall.png )
