The command "sudo yum install subversion"; should proved the default subversion for your operating system. If you want a more recent one, at last check, the company "wandisco" provides quite recent releases. If you decide you want to build your own, which I don't recommend for the faint of heart, there are my own RPM building tools over at https://github.com/nkadel/ . But my tools are for fun, they're not production grade.
