I would first check to see if there's an installer or prebuilt package. The following page lists installers and packages for various operating systems: http://subversion.apache.org/packages.html If you can't find a prebuilt package, the INSTALL file in the Subversion release tarballs explains how to compile Subversion from source code and provides a list of the needed dependencies. The latest version of that file can be found here: https://svn.apache.org/repos/asf/subversion/trunk/INSTALL If you can tell us more, we might be able to be more helpful.
