My pages with forms and validation always contain something like this (once for the whole form):
<span jwcid="@If" condition="ognl:components.myForm.delegate.hasErrors"> <span jwcid="@Insert" value="ognl:components.myForm.delegate.firstError"> Error message </span> </span> It might not be the most elegant solution, but it displays the validation messages (plus ** for the problematic fields).
