Rendering link manually is wrong a way.
In Tapestry 4 each request type ( page, external, direct, ... ) has it
own link render mechanism.
Using Hivemind configuration you can replace such link rendering system,
thats why manual link
generation is wrong. Correct link generation using Tapestry services is
covered here
