Fixed it! Alright, so it was GZIP'd JS "include" causing the issue!
Initially I had a compression filter on my servlet path /app/*. So it compressed the JS file that Tapestry was returning with the URL /app?service=asset&path=%2Fdojo%2Fdojo.js Then I disabled the filter. I guess this file was still cached :@ I downloaded an extension to modify my request headers to set "Accept-Encoding=none". Did a refresh on my app. Stuff works :) I guess it overwrote the cached version. Now if I pase that URL above into the address bar, I get a bunch of javascript. Tapestry remains not at fault ;) That would also explain why it "worked" in IE - I tried it after I disabled the gzip compression filter. Thanks! Maybe at least turning the debug console on (ie using FireBug ) and copying and pasting some of those exact errors and all text associated with them might help me.
