I'm not sure I understand what the actual problem is that you are running in
to?

I have noticed recently that I've had to define a .dojoDialog css style rule
for instances when I refresh a dialog via XHR - it could be you are seeing
this as well? I still have to look in to this further but am thinking it's
some kind of default kicking in somewhere.

OK, I've changed my form declaration from
<form jwcid="@Form" listener="listener:save">
to
<form jwcid="@Form" success="listener:save">

This stops the rendering issues and log messages, however how can I
notify the user of their invalid entry?
