Hello Carl. I do not have much experience on the subject, but I'm facing the same problem. At the moment, if use <t:if> statements depending on the server agent, which works, because I only need to support a few smart phone models, but which be difficult to maintain as soon as new devices come in line. I think that you're idea is great, but I'm far from a Tapestry expert, thus I cannot help you on the development, just on the requirements.
