Dimitris, I just tested in 5.4-beta-28 with the same exception. What version of tapestry-security are you using? I'm using 0.6.2? Are you submitting with an ajax form? I can reproduce this very easily by forcing my session to expire locally by advancing my computers time and then submitting an ajax form. It happens every single time.
