Can you put your assets in src/main/resources/META-INF/assets/ ? If so, then
ClasspathAsset will work. Eg
public String getCongratulationsImg() {
Asset asset = assetSource.getClasspathAsset(
"/META-INF/assets/images/congratulations.png",
currentLocale);
return asset.toClientURL();
}
