I'll try your advice. Seems less resource hungry than checking context.getResourceAsStream(). I was used to doing the resource way because checking a file won't work in unexpanded wars. As this project must be expanded so users can upload templates, it will certainly work. We're getting out of struts/tiles scope anyway.
