If your Apache supports dso modules then simple:
./configure --with-apxs=/path/to/apache/bin/apxs
make
make install
will work for sure.
Use most recent stable (jk-1.2.15).
If you are not sure if apache supports dso just post the
output from 'httpd -V'.
