Ignore the question, found the answer reading docs. Our tomcat instances did
not open the http port only uses the Coyote/JK2 AJP 1.3 Connector.

While configuring tomcat can I do the following in the server.xml?
In the current server.xml the following is present :
>> snipped from server.xml
during installation -->
port="5004" maxThreads="150" minSpareThreads="25"
maxSpareThreads="75"
enableLookups="false" redirectPort="8443" acceptCount="100"
debug="0" connectionTimeout="20000"
disableUploadTimeout="true" />
enableLookups="false" redirectPort="8443" debug="0"
protocol="AJP/1.3" />
>> end snippet
Can I merge them together in one Connector tag like following?
maxSpareThreads="75"
enableLookups="false" redirectPort="8443" acceptCount="100"
debug="0" connectionTimeout="20000"
disableUploadTimeout="true" />
We are using tomcat version 5.0.28
