See [1] below. using the service installer = 'sc ...' at command prompt? you cannot locate service.bat file (in C:\Progra~1\APACHE~1\TOMCAT~1.0)? wow/interesting. I repeat, see [1] below. [1] I download .zip file and extract to D:\ root folder, and it should extract files to D:\apache-tomcat-7.0.37 (or whatever version you are using). I would 'never' install Tomcat to C:\Program Files or D:\Program Files.
